As with many women, I found myself overweight after the birth of my daughter, and wanted to regain my previous appearance and self confidence. I needed to find a way to lose 100 lbs within the time constraints of being a working single mom. Finding Muay Thai was the answer - it's a short term, full body workout that works the body and the core. The concentrated bursts of kicking and punching over 30 minutes of Muay Thai will give you the same calorie burn as going for a long run. I am dedicated to guiding you through these workouts that will get the results you seek quickly. Come try a class… you won't be disappointed!

At 53, after a 7 year hiatus and a 60 lb weight gain, I made a commitment to myself to get healthy and strong, both mentally and physically. I really enjoy helping people meet their running goals, and incorporate running safely into their fitness program. This year I had the privilege of training the American Cancer Society DetermiNation team for the Rock and Roll Marathon.

I have been involved with sports one way or another for most of my life. More recently I found myself taking up running as an outlet for stress. Quickly I realized I needed to look at the whole picture (and my body), what I put in my body and what I do to use that energy in a healthy way. My passion for health and fitness grew from there. I found getting in a good workout and the little changes everyday made a huge difference. As a single mom of an energetic little boy, I need all the energy I can get to keep up with him. I try to live a healthy life style in and out of the weight room, setting a good example for my son. Setting a goal and following through with it is an amazing feeling. I enjoy working with clients of any fitness level and developing challenging, obtainable, individualized fitness goals - big or small!
