A heart rate monitor can help you to:
  • Track your progress toward increased aerobic endurance,
  • Monitor and improve your cardiovascular fitness,
  • Prevent over-training,
  • Prevent under-training,
  • Keep you on pace during training and racing,
  • Make your workouts more fun!

Presented by Leslie Rathbun. Leslie is a personal trainer certified by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), and holds a degree in Sports Medicine and Human Performance from the University of Washington. She has also been an avid long-distance runner and cyclist for the last 20 years.
